Enrollment Information

Aurora Academy Charter School enrolls on a lottery basis. In order to enter your child for the 2010/2011 school year you will need to attend a Parent Information Meeting. This meeting will enable you to better determine if our school is a good fit for your family or not.


The meeting dates for the 2010/2011 Parent Information Meetings are as follows:

  1. February 4th, 2010 at 6:30 pm
  2. February 11th, 2010 at 6:30 pm
  3. February 18th, 2010 at 7 am


It’s important that you hear the entire presentation to be fully informed about our school; therefore,
we lock the door 10 minutes after our presentation begins. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we invite you to attend the next scheduled meeting.

We encourage you to fill out our Application for Enrollment prior to attending the meeting. The purpose of this form is to give us contact information for sending out reminder postcards for the meetings as well as letting you know if you have won a spot after our lottery has been run.

We do not roll our list from year to year. If you have tried to get in before and have not been successful, you will need to complete another Application for Enrollment. If you attended a meeting in February 2009 please indicate so on the enrollment form; you will not need to attend again in 2010.
