Welcome to the Public Relations website for Aurora Academy.
Last year our donations and fund raising efforts went to the playground project. We thank all those who participated in making that happen!
This year our efforts will be directed at raising appropriate funds to upgrade and improve all of the technology in our building.
We are hoping to generate funds to provide computer carts for the building. A computer cart (or two) would be such an asset to our building because we would be able to bring computers to children in the classroom on an 'as needed' basis. The teachers and staff in the building could share carts, and hands on, intense learning through the use of computers could enhance the classroom experience.
We are also looking into smart pens and other enhancing technologies that would improve the classroom experience.
A detailed list of our needs will be posted in the coming months.
We are constantly seeking grants to fulfill these needs and we will be holding a silent auction and community event later this year. Details to come.
