This will be my ninth year of teaching in the United States and eleventh year teaching overall. I grew up in Denver, and graduated from Lake Forest College in 2010 with degrees in Spanish and Elementary Education. After graduation, I spent 2 ½ years teaching Spanish Literacy in South America as a Peace Corps Volunteer. When I finished my term of service in the Peace Corps, I decided to move back to Colorado. After coming back to Colorado, I taught 3rd grade for two years, taught 5th grade for a year, and earned my Master's Degree in Special Education. This will be my 6th year at Aurora Academy. I taught 2nd grade for the past five years and am excited to have your child again in third this year. Please know that I will do anything I can to make sure your child grows this year. In my free time I love to travel, read, and spend time outdoors.
