AACS Board of Directors

 

Dear Aurora Academy families,

 

Open elections for the Aurora Academy Charter School Board of Directors are held yearly per the school’s bylaws.  As a parent, you are eligible to be a Board Director.  The strength of Aurora Academy has always been its parents and their involvement in the school.  This is a parent-led Board of Directors; it is not guided by a corporation or outsiders.  Your involvement is vital for your student’s success.

However, no elections will be held this January.

 

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

When there are not enough applications for open Board positions, elections are not required, and the current Board can appoint the open position(s).  

This is happening right now!

 

Any new Board of Directors can be appointed throughout the year, so if you are interested in the 

Board of Directors – Please come to a meeting and see how the Board operates.
