One of the most memorable parts of November is Thanksgiving. However, many families aren’t able to have Thanksgiving-type food on Thanksgiving. That's where we come in. National Junior Honor Society students are hosting a canned food drive this month. We are planning on collecting all types of canned or other non-perishable foods to donate to the Village Exchange Center, a local food bank that serves our community. This is something that we cannot do by ourselves. Our whole AACS community must come together to help others. 

Bring in canned goods like soups, vegetables, beans, rice, and other non-perishable foods to the donation box in your classroom from Monday, November 7th through Friday, November 18th. The class that collects the most canned food K-4 and 5-8 will earn a pajama day!
