Hello Aurora Academy community! My name is Sarah Wetzbarger (staff and students refer to me as 'Ms. W') and I am thrilled to join AACS as the new K-8 School Counselor. I am so excited to be here and cannot wait to connect with our amazing students and families.
I have been a school counselor for several years, most recently serving at the high school level. I am currently completing my Doctorate in Psychology, with an expected graduation in 2027. Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic growth is my passion, and I am eager to bring that energy to our school.
A little about me: I share my home with two adorable dogs, Jolene and Delilah. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me tending to my garden, cooking up new recipes in the kitchen, or out exploring. I love to travel, camp, and spend time on the water paddleboarding.
