This Week's Homework

Math: Ms. Reed's math class: We are working on converting measurements from larger units to smaller units, and smaller units to larger units in multi-step word problems. Please expect homework nightly this week.  

Writing: Week 19 spelling words and packet. This week's words are sight words, academic words, and words that have multiple syllables, and the -ing suffix. For example - investigating has five syllables and the -ing ending (suffix).

Reading: Students are expected to read 20 to 30 minutes nightly so that they can meet their AR goals. They need to read at school and at home to achieve this. AR is a part of their overall Reading grade, so please help your student be successful and make time for them to read.  This week: AR goal -24% of their total Quarter 4 goal (varies for each student).
