Meet Ms Ween

     Let me welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year.  I hope you had a restful and relaxing summer. My name is Jennifer Ween, and I will be your child’s math teacher.  This is my first year at Aurora Academy as I recently relocated to Colorado from Florida.  A little bit about me is that I am an avid football fan, love to shop, and collect Vans sneakers.  In 2022-2023, I won Teacher of The Year for Charter Schools and throughout my six years at my previous school, we went from a C rating to an A rating.  I am extremely passionate and have high expectations for both me and my students.  

       Middle school is by far, my favorite grades to teach! Middle schoolers have the best traits that students can possess curiosity, enthusiasm, and humor. They are so excited to learn and to discover new things.   Creating a classroom where kids are excited, comfortable, and known can make such a difference! Connecting with each student is important to me. Tapping into what makes them come to life is my goal.  I AM ALL IN! This year we are going to SOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS. 

     I am excited about the opportunity to get to know your child, and I am looking forward to a successful and productive school year. With your cooperation and support, I know that we can make this the best year for your child yet! Watch us Soar!
