Founded in 2000 as the first charter school in the Aurora Public School District, Aurora Academy Charter School provides a well-rounded, rigorous education with high academic standards for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. School Tour Dates
Interested parties should plan to arrive between 8:00–8:15 a.m. The tour will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. We will start with an informational session and a Q&A in the library, followed by a tour of the building and classrooms.

Notification & Paperwork
Every spring, we run a lottery to place new students. You will be notified of your child’s placement after the lottery has been completed.
Once accepted, an appointment will be scheduled to complete the registration process with our Enrollment Coordinator.
Please note that we do not roll over our waitlist from year to year. If you are not notified of placement, you will need to reapply the following year.

Seats are limited for grades K-8. We encourage families to apply early to improve their chances of securing a spot at Aurora Academy Charter School.
